"El chorro" is a limestore gorge through which passes the Guadalhorce river. The area has been protected by "Junta de Andalucia" since 1989 because of its ecological, historical and palaeontological value and is definitely worth a visit. "El Chorro" is especially known for "El camino del Rey" which is a path known to be very dangerous. At the moment it is in a highly dangerous state and it is now prohibited to do the walk though local climbers still climb there. For several years reconstructions have been requiered, however it´s just now that the work has actually started.
"El Torcal" is a natural park reserve south of the town of Antequera in the province of Málaga. It is located in the mountains "Sierra el Torcal" and is known for its karst landscapes and the beauty of these. Also it has a great variety of wildflowers.
